You can help support older adults in need and also enjoy a great evening out! On Thursday, April 20th, we will be celebrating successful living at the 12th Annual Aged to Perfection wine tasting and silent auction at Holly Creek. The popular event showcases delectable wines and culinary tastes as well as a bountiful silent auction.

Why is attending and supporting Aged to Perfection so important? This year, proceeds will enrich our Residents Assistance Fund, which has already brought great relief to residents in need.

In 2017 alone, the organization has approved individual grants adding up to nearly $75,000 for three residents, who through no fault of their own, can no longer afford care. All are cherished elders who have lived with Christian Living Communities for many years but, because of unforeseen circumstances, currently find themselves in need.

Additionally, the Resident Assistance Fund provides operational relief to CLC communities that offer charity care – those who accept reduced payment sources such as Medicaid, which does not fully pay for the true cost of care and services. Last year this fund supplemented the communities offering such care with $80,000 in relief.

You won’t want to miss this year’s Aged to Perfection event themed “Fire & Ice”. Register here to attend. If you can’t make it, you don’t have to miss out on all the fun. The silent auction has moved completely online allowing those who can’t attend the chance to participate. Click here to preview the auction offerings. We will continue to add items up until the event. Pre-bidding will begin April 6, two weeks before the event, and run through the event on April 20.
