#WeCareWeWear Mask Up Challenge

Christian Living Communities and Cappella Living Solutions recently challenged all 23 of our communities across the nation to spotlight their community’s superb masking-up and infection control efforts by creating videos that highlighted the Why, How, and for Whom they wear a mask.

Teams put their funniest, artsiest and most theatrical voices and faces to work. A judging panel including our clinical team and resident representatives narrowed the field to the top 3 choices and those videos have been posted on our CLC and Cappella Facebook pages. The rest is up to you! The video that receives the most likes by August 31st will earn first place bragging rights and a cash prize of $500! No shade to the 2nd place team who will receive $300 and the 3rd place team will receive $200.

To kick us off, our Eagle Pointe Support Office team accepted the challenge and submitted the first #WeCareWeWear Mask Up video, which you can view here.

Facemask Do’s and Don’ts for Healthcare Personnel

It’s important that we continue to do all we can to protect residents and team members during this COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC recommends wearing facemasks to slow the spread of coronavirus. There have been numerous questions about the importance of masks and how to wear them.

Thank you to CLC-Cappella team members who continue to keep residents safe and healthy while also making things like wearing masks fun! We will update this post soon with the results of the contest.
