Construction has begun on the second phase of improvements for the Suites at Someren Glen to refresh the community. The project includes remodeling and improving the main dining room, updating the staircase and living room as well as creating the Community Life Hub, a dedicated activity space for long-term care residents.
The dining room makeover will create a much more aesthetically pleasing venue and position the community to more effectively offer open dining to residents. Plans include adding more lighting to the Suites living room known as “The Gathering Space,” to create a more inviting area for residents and family members to visit. The improvements are anticipated to take five to six months. During that time, team members will make every effort to minimize disruptions.
Last year, the Suites at Someren Glen unveiled the first of its enhancements to the community when the state-of-the-art Transitional Care Neighborhood opened to serve those needing short-term rehabilitation.
