Jill Vitale-Aussem, the President and CEO of Christian Living Communities (CLC) – Cappella Living Solutions (Cappella), announced Wednesday the promotion of Jayne Keller to the position of Chief Operating Officer effective immediately.
Keller has been with CLC-Cappella since 2011. She first served the organization as the Executive Director of Holly Creek, A Life Plan Community, for seven years. While there, she helped Holly Creek navigate the economic crisis recovery effort, ensuring the community met all of its financial obligations. Keller also helped create the Keepers Committee, a resident-directed effort to help retain top talent by building relationships between residents and team members.
Keller then became the Vice President of Senior Living of CLC-Cappella in 2018. She played a critical role in expanding the organization in 2019 by welcoming 12 communities. She is responsible for overseeing the operations team supporting all 22 communities.
Keller’s 30 plus year career in senior living began as a nursing assistant at a nursing home in Illinois. She is a graduate of the Leading Age Leadership Academy and holds her Nursing Home Administrators license.
In making the announcement, Vitale-Aussem shared that she first worked with Keller in 2006 when both were executive directors of sister assisted living communities in Denver. “I knew the day I met her that Jayne was incredibly talented, dedicated, and passionate about our field and that she had a very bright future ahead of her,” Vitale-Aussem states. “It’s been a joy to watch her career grow over the years. We are blessed to have her leadership in our organization.”
As COO, Keller will provide strategic direction for all CLC-Cappella communities and programs. Her current position, Vice President of Senior Living, will not be replaced at this time.
Keller’s promotion to the role of COO has been reported by industry and regional news organizations such as McKnight Senior Living and the Denver Business Journal.
