Revolutionizing Aging Services

We are reshaping what senior living should be—communities where each resident is a citizen who has influence, autonomy, and a vital role in its overall well-being. With a vision of creating communities where aging is honored and celebrated, we are committed to breaking the barriers built by ageism and empowering older adults to live with purpose.

Christian Living Communities at a Glance

CLC is a Colorado-based, non-profit organization providing senior living options and quality care for older adults and their families since 1972. Today, we are responsible for the success of nine senior living communities, numerous innovative programs, and a variety of support services.

Cappella Living Solutions - Christian Living Communities' management and consulting division - was founded in 2014. Cappella extends CLC's mission reach by providing experienced leadership and strategic insight to both non-profit and for-profit communities.

Our History

Christian Living Communities was established in 1972 as a single-site nursing home by the local Reformed Church of America and Christian Reformed Churches of Denver. Founded by a small group of dedicated community members who wanted to improve the lives of older adults, their mission was to treat each in accordance to the Christian faith and values. They started with just $2,000 in the bank. Yet, what they lacked in funding, they made up for in determination and love.

The simple promise of "a window for every resident" was visionary at the time, firmly establishing dignity and respect as cornerstones of all CLC communities. Since then, CLC has been a pioneer and ardent advocate for autonomy, choice, and citizenship in senior living.
