Touching the lives of others is as meaningful for donors as it is for those whose lives are enriched by their gift. The act of giving brings well-being, purpose, and joy for both giver and receiver. You can make a difference today with a gift to benefit older adults at Christian Living Communities.

As we close out 2023, we invite you to consider making a gift to the Chaplain Fund. Many of our supporters and partners have inquired how they can honor the legacy of our faithful servant leader, Chaplain Jim Kok, as he prepares for retirement in 2024.

As Executive Director of Chaplain Services, Jim has grown the Chaplain program to include full and part-time chaplains at our three Legacy campuses (Clermont Park, Someren Glen, and Holly Creek) and at Dayspring Villa. Our mission is evident every day in the actions of the Chaplain Team as they provide Christian love, respect, and compassion toward each individual.

You can Strengthen Our Foundation and honor Jim’s philosophy of “they will know we are Christians by our love” with a gift to the Chaplain Program.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) can be a tax-smart way to make your charitable gifts. A QCD is a direct distribution from an Individual Retirement Account to an eligible charity, bypassing the account owner. They are also called IRA charitable distributions. As a friendly reminder, to be counted for the 2023 tax year, the nonprofit organization must receive the QCD on or before December 31, 2023.

To learn more about making a QCD gift, contact Stephanie Manley, Director of Philanthropy at 720-974-3675 or smanley@clcliving.org.

As always, we encourage you to meet with your financial advisor to determine if such strategies suit you.
